Pythia Tarot: The Great Oracle of Greeks

PYTHIA TAROT: THE GREAT ORACLE OF GREEKS

The Pythia tarot deck is named after Pythia, the high priestess of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi who served as the legendary oracle of ancient Greece. Known for delivering cryptic, inspired prophecies from Apollo, Pythia remains one of the most iconic figures of ancient divination.

The Pythia Tarot deck contains 78 main cards plus special/bonus cards; 82 cards in all.  It follows the standard Rider-Waite-Smith structure (Major Arcana, Wands, Cups, Swords, Pentacles/Earth suit). Major Arcana and Court cards assign specific Greek gods and heroes to each archetype (e.g., Zeus as The Emperor, Persephone as The High Priestess). The pack comes without a printed guidebook, relying instead on standard RWS meanings infused with the character/mythological notes printed directly on the cards.
