Universal Monsters Tarot Deck

UNIVERSAL MONSTERS TAROT DECK

The Universal Monsters Tarot Deck and Guidebook is a 78 card themed set featuring artwork by Joe Wilson and text by Casey Gilly.

The Major Arcana reimagines tarot archetypes using classic Universal Pictures film characters. For example, Frankenstein’s monster is The Fool, Dr Frankenstein is the Magician & the Bride of Frankenstein is The Empress. The Minor Arcana Suits are renamed to fit the horror theme using alliterative ‘C’ words: Candles replace Wands, Crypts replace Cups, Claws replace Swords & Castles replace Pentacles.

The 128 page companion book explains card meanings.
